I know I go on a lot about his deficiencies, but I could write a whole blog on how bad he is. He has no positional sense, lacks any discipline, cant pa s a ball, cant tackle, cant shoot, runs about like a headle s chicken, and these are only the traits he displays in the warm-up!!Mexican attacking midfielder Nery Castillo is someone who arrived at City with the reputation of being a highly creative and exciting player. However, both Erik son and Hughes have failed to see any of this promise in training, and therefore Castillo has never been given a chance to prove himself. It seemswrong to get rid of his services, but if he doesnt feature in Hughes plans, then we might as well cancel his loan and free up the wage bill. Zimababwean striker Benjani is po sibly a controversial choice, but in my opinion, he is nothing more than an average Premier League striker. Recently, he has been fairly injury prone, mi sing the start of the season with a thigh injury, and now it is expected that he will be out for a while with a hamstring strain. When we bring in strikers in January, as Im sure will happen, then Benjani willl become surplus to requirements. Young Welsh striker ChedEvans shows a certain amount of promise, but could find his route to the first team blocked by further arrivals. Chelsea keeper Cudicini would act as an experienced back-up goalkeeper to the promising Joe Hart, while Bridge andUpsonwould bolster the defence. With the arrival of Bridge, Javier Garrido could move forward into midfield with the continued absence of Martin Petrovand Upson would add solidity to our shaky defence Andrew Miller Jersey . Wigandynamo Palacioswould provide steel in midfield, something we have been lacking in recent weeks, whilst alsobeing accustomed to the pace of the Premiership. I would ideally like Gareth Barry in this position, but he is unlikely to come to a side languishing in the bottom three.We have been mi sing a lethal goalscorer this season, and I feel that Santa Cruz would be perfect for City.
